I build AI for people the average leaves out.
I'm a senior at North Allegheny in Pittsburgh. I co-founded IRIS, glasses that help blind people walk past obstacles their canes miss, and OwnVoice, speech recognition for Mandarin speakers with slurred speech. I also do AI research at Pitt's Intelligent Systems Lab and NASA SEES.
Projects
-
IRIS
2025–nowCo-founder and CTO
A wearable under $200 that warns blind people about what's ahead, including the head-height obstacles a white cane can't reach. Depth estimation, object detection, a 3D voxel map and pathfinding all run on a Raspberry Pi with a Coral TPU, and it guides the wearer with vibration. $40k+ raised, partnered with blind centers from Pittsburgh to California, backed by MIT and ECE at Pitt.
- OpenAI is filming a documentary about it
- Featured in People, Yahoo Tech and the Times of India
-
OwnVoice
2026–nowCo-founder and ML engineer
Stroke and Parkinson's can slur speech, and in Mandarin one slurred tone turns “mother” into “horse.” We fine-tuned Whisper on simulated dysarthric speech and invented a metric for it, the Segmental Tone Error Rate. Severe-case errors fell 41% and tone errors 43%. Top 8 of 226 teams at Taiwan's Presidential Hackathon, now mentored by Taiwanese hospitals and three universities.

Pitt Intelligent Systems Lab
2024–nowResearch assistant with Dr. Wei Gao
Co-authored MobileClaw, an Android LLM agent that reasons over your notifications as they arrive instead of polling screenshots. I built its reasoning, decision and memory modules; the demo is accepted to ACM MobiCom 2026. I also lead data collection for GazeGuide, where someone with ALS looks at an object through consumer AR glasses and a robot carries out the task.
-
GravBench
2026AI intern, NASA SEES
A benchmark that changes gravity and asks vision-language models what happens next. Mostly, they don't know. Poster at the AGU Fall Meeting 2026.
-
Silicon
2026–nowExecutive director
A student hackathon nonprofit with 2,000+ members and 15 partner organizations. We've run 15 global hackathons with judges and mentors from CMU, AWS and Pitt.

Knock on your MacBook to run commands. It reads the laptop's accelerometer. 100+ downloads within days of posting it on Reddit.
-
Bulk-archives college recruiting spam from Gmail. It stores no tokens and no LLM reads your mail.
